Wedding Details at a Glance

Getting to the Venue

Route sat navs to "Gisburne Park Lodge", then continue through the gateway and down the lane.

Ceremony, Reception & Accommodation

Both ceremony and reception will be on-site at Gisburne Park's sailtent marquee wedding venue.

On-site accommodation is available for those who would like to stay over, though, there is a minimum 2 night stay and spaces are limited. See below for on-site and off-site options.

Food

We'd suggest having a small lunch before arriving at 12pm.

CanapΓ©s will be served after the ceremony around 1:30pm, followed by the Wedding Breakfast around 3pm and evening pizzas around 9pm.

Dress Code

Formal attire - as Gisburne is a mainly outdoor venue, we'd suggest avoiding stilettos and perhaps bringing an extra layer for the evening depending on the weather forecast.

Venue Information

πŸ’ The Venue

Gisburne Park is a mainly outdoor venue with a large sailtent marquee. We're hoping to make the most of the outdoor space with plenty of games and fun in the afternoon!

πŸ“ Getting to the Right Spot

As the venue is set within the estate, sat navs often don't give the correct route to the carpark. Please route to "Gisburne Park Lodge" and then follow the instructions in the Travel section below.

β™Ώ Accessibility

The venue is wheelchair accessible and has baby-changing and disabled toilet facilities. Please note the final part of the route down to the venue is a little steep. For those who may need it, it's possible to drive down by car to drop off, then park in the main car park.

Getting To the Venue

Please arrive for 12pm. The venue is in a rural area so driving/ taxis are the best option to get there.

By Car

Route sat navs to "Gisburne Park Lodge". This should direct you to the spot called "Gatehouse East" on the map below.

If you approach on the A59, take the Park Road exit, opposite the Delicious Deli (also shown on map below).

Enter the Estate through the Gisburne Park lodge gates and continue down the lane.

After a minute or two you'll come to a sign for the wedding venue. Please continue straight on past it to the main carpark, unless you need to drop off guests who may struggle to walk down on a gradient. In this case please follow the sign and then turn around and drive to the main carpark to park.

Once parked it's a short 5 minute walk back up the lane you've just driven down to the entrance of the venue (marked by the sign you have driven past).
